About

A symmetric sett mirrors between two pivots. The slash sits between the colour and the count, and that number is the full width of the pivot, woven once. The stripes between the pivots are then repeated in reverse. DR/8 G64 K44 G/64 weaves as DR8 G64 K44 G64 K44 G64, 288 threads, and that block repeats.

An asymmetric sett is wrapped in three dots and does not mirror. ...DR8 G64 K44 G64... repeats in that order.

Warp and weft follow the same sequence. In 2/2 twill the warp lies on top where (x + y) mod 4 is 0 or 1. Otherwise the weft shows.

A name with no hex uses one shade picked from the Register’s colour sheet. The Register may draw a different shade for that same name. Put a hex in the palette to lock it. Counts are usually even, and a sett under 100 threads usually reads as a check.
